About This Video: In this video I show you guys how to use a light meter and why you would in particular situations want to use a light meter. The light meter ive used for this tutorial is a Sekonic L-308s and its pretty cheap in the grand scheme of things. I use it when taking in studio portraits or setting up for these videos. Ive also personally found it helpful when shooting film photography and the SLR have a broken light meter and im not able to take a reading of the light. This model of light meter can take both ambient (which is what im using) or it can also be set to read strobes which is handy. with the ambient light meter you can use it to meter for videos or even to make sure a backdrop is evenly exposed which is handy. Thanks for watching guys I really appreciate your time and if you want more light meter tutorials please be sure to request one below in the comments!
