  1. I have been trying to learn layers for over a year with limited results. Your teaching style is excellent for me. I appreciate your sharing your knowledge. The one problem I still have though is how do I lock my background layer. When I make a new layer it then often becomes the background. What am I missing? Again, thank you for your service.

  2. When I make a duplicate copy of the background and set the 'eyeball' on the copy to ON and the eyeball on the background layer to OFF, the is no image showing only the checkerboard view. When I turn the background layer ON the image appears. It is as though the copy is only a transparent layer and has not copied the image. See the section at 5.17 on the video. I look forward to your response. Thank you.

  3. I'm lost already as the layer on the right is not on mine. I click open-choose photo. The photo shows up on the bottom and in full screen. There is nothing on the right under create and share. When I click on layer from the top it says new layer. I click on that and chose layer 2. Then I see nothing.

  4. I am very familiar with using PSE. However I learnt to use it without Layers so in this respect I am a total beginner. I am looking forward to see if the results will be an improvement on what I produce and to see whether by using this I spend less or more time processing.
