This is the first video from my trip to Iceland this year. This part was filmed in the Highlands, a part of Iceland with some really unique landscapes that’s difficult to access in winter. Like my previous videos I go through the thought process behind some of the images and explain some of the locations.
If you’d like to join me for a landscape photography workshop in Italy or Iceland next year I’ll be co-leading groups there in 2021. Check my website for more information https://www.andymumford.com/workshops/

you have shots and amazing compositions 🙂 I love the shot from Braided rivers at 3m30s. Is possible you give the location. i hope travel to highlands soon 🙂
Wow, thank You for sharing this very informative and instructional video.
That waterfall is superb! Next time can I have a lift in that jeep!?
Interesting content. Good job! 🙂 Some time ago we moved to Iceland because of its beautiful views. 🙂 Now we live in north Iceland, during winter it is very beautiful place, truly breathtaking. 🙂 Of course winter weather sometimes try to kill us but we still love Iceland. 😀 Greetings from Olafsfjordur. 🙂
Great vid and enjoyed watching it
Great video! There’s only to learn from your explanations🙌🏻
Fantastic video, Andy! Really enjoyed that. I really liked how you explained your photography thought process. Looking forward for the next video 👏🏻
Andy, your work really is the creme de la creme. There are thousands of people on YT all saying they are photographers and showing us their gear, but your work is exceptional. Keep going.
You are a great asset to photography and an inspiration for Fujifilm shooters. Thank you for this!
Thanks for the fantastic visual treat……!!!
Just came across your channel.. And wow! I can't but suscribe your channel.. Nice content.. Informative😄
Hi Andy, I should congratulate you for another amazing lesson of photography. Thank you very much! The description you give to your videos is simply amazing! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
Muito bem!
I really enjoyed this video' what a wonderful place you captured. I have a cousin who is a bird photographer living in Italy and visit's Iceland quite often. Thank you
Beautiful stuff as normal Andy, great work
Excellent technical info to complement your superb photography 👍
Great stuff, I'll look out for the rest from this winter trip!
Beautiful video! Stunning photos!
What amazing scenes, Andy! I’m headed to Iceland in a couple weeks for the first time. Though I won’t be making it up into the Highlands this trip, your videos are SO helpful in how you break down composition—not only what makes the images work but what makes some not work as well as others—and that might be even more helpful. Thanks so much!
I particularly appreciate your talking us through the compositions – it's really instructive. I absolutely love the shot of the valley with the black edges of the hills. Some of them are really strong 'negative' images almost.
Awesome images and comparing winter and summer was really excellent, enjoy your explanations immensely, thank you for sharing your knowledge as it’s very inspirational to someone learning landscape photography
This is just awesome, Andy. Really challenging in winter. What an adventure and great content!
Lovely to see those places looking so different in the winter Andy. Beautiful shots – especially liked the pano from the embankment near the camp with the dark sky behind. The whole area sure looks so different under snow! All the best
Wow, spectacular footage and shots, love it! Thanks for explaining your thought process. What is your main consideration when switching between X-T30 and X-T3 ?
Cool photos in a challenging environment, really looking forward to your upcoming Icelandic Glacier video 🙂
