Whenever I attempt to import an obj file into blender it looks like it will work but it just show's nothing and it doesnt import and it is really annoying please help

Ok I thank I am doing something wrong. When I tried to open my 3d model I download off of TF3DM.com it isn't there and I don't know why.

Agree with Junior – very difficult to follow. When trying it out I only got to @0.07, when selecting 'cycles render' I don't get 'device' on RHS as an option? I am using Blender v 2.7.6?
a commentary would of been nice not hating on your video but its easier when someone is explaining the steps
and also i have no idea how you do that @1:13 and nice video
