Hi everyone! After reading some comments here, I just wanted to mention, that even if in the title the word "Introduction" is includet it does not mean that it is an introduction to blender in general. Many of your questions shows that you don't understand the basics of Blender. This is only an inroduction to sculpting. Like for any other specific topic, if you want to learn sculpting, you have to know the basics of Blender, like UI, navigation, selecting, modeling etc.
Check out https://www.youtube.com/user/cgboorman or this beginners series https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYj6e-72RDs
Thanks!

your to fast i dont like toturial like this!!!hate it
Why every single blender user on youtube sounds like Gleb Alexandrov?
Absolutely AMAZING tutorial man. Well done. Earned my sub and like!
"Hi everybody, my name is sgfkormbrbmrb anyway… !"
theres no R sound in german? lol
Hey, I've got a problem. I'm new to blender and started modeling a rhino, and followed the tutorial until the completion of the base mesh. I began sculpting without enabling dyntopo, and admittedly got very carried away without thinking further. Now when I switch back to object mode, my beautiful rhino it turns back to the base mesh. If I enable dyntopo, it turns back to the base mesh. Is there a way to save my sculpted model or did I fuck up for good
One of the better sculpting tuts I've seen! Thanks so much. Yes, I think one needs a basic understanding of Blender before attempting this. I would think this is a given, but some just don't get it. I'm very much a noob in Blender, but I would recommend folks spent a month or so doing some modeling first. You will be forced to learn all of the tools needed for navigating, modifying, etc.
It's confusing right in the beginning. I've no clue how you even started. For a beginner like me it's not helpful
hey there, great stuff but I can't seem to find the sculpt tools after I download them. What am I doing wrong?there's no option for sculpt tools in the addons
Not only did I find this a great tutorial for sculpting, but I never knew that "ambient occlusion" option was sitting there in the wings! Makes sculpting so much easier to see!
worst tutorial ive seen
without doub the best tutorial about sculpt
FUCK HE DOSE NOT SPEAK ENGLISH
where is the addon download?
What did you say at 38:48 "wee topology"? What's that?
7:44 note to self.
How to make extruding on 3:11? When I do that on the right ortho I select angles as in video and when extrude there is only half part of the top extruding
Thanks, Klaus. You are good fish.
Great Tut bro! Just one question: You´ve mentioned that your finished material cannot be further developed. Do you mean in this way it is not possible to add colors, mapping, lightining, environment and render?
If you spoke a bit softer, we'd all be asleep…
No-nonsense, straight to the point, and thorough. Very nice tutorial! Thanks! 🙂
did you ever make the video on procedural textures?
Really great video! Thank you so much for your help! Keep up the great work!!
I'm having trouble finding the zip file in the Add-Ons in Blender. HALP
3:11 Ive used blener off an on for some months and ive never ever seen a selection box like that, hes extruding faces, but its a sphere inside a box.
Hello my name is kfkelzndialsnaMñasyaaa
How did you disable "selection to visible" ?
liked ,subcribed ,added best video
So so so awesome!!
This guy is less subscribed than DanTDM but makes better vids than him. Thats sad.
But are they weally connected?
I don't understand how he selects the mesh so easy, for example when doing the fingers and rotate them, it seems he can select each finger separately easily, I had to rotate my camera several times to avoid select vertices of the other fingers. how does he do that?
excellent explanation thanks))
24:53 where is the mouse? :p
"Sponsor time" is really annoying. You seriously can't just put that in the beginning or end of the video?
surely you can some how 3d print your work into the real world. I am amazed by this..I never knew this was so accessible
Thank you very much for this wonderful video! I have been learning Blender for about a year now, and I have just started to learn about sculpting – since there is so much detail as far as anatomy and physiology is concerned, this video was a huge help in my work! I will have to make more use of the clay stripes brush, and will definitely look out for that relative detail feature – I unfortunately learned the hard way how that brush can rapidly cause your polygon count to get out of control!
This is a fantastic tutorial and has helped me a lot! Thank you for the good explanation of sculpting and the tools to perform the sculpting, as well as the settings in Blender that can make the process easier and more enjoyable.
Blender sculpting tools are really powerful! I was just wondering why some part of the sculpted mesh gets darker…
"Wheel life" =D
I've only been working on blender for a week or so, completed a couple of tutorial series, this is my third, it's a good pace for me. I had one error when doing the union using those sculpting tools: The legs didn't become holes. Cause: I had accidentally extruded twice or something around the body, causing doubles. I had moved one set of the doubles so they didn't get detected when I went on remove doubles. Resolution: Go inside the body and select faces then delete them all. I think I did the same thing for the face too!
Is there a particular reason you are not creating the base mesh using the skin modifier, but rather choose to extrude a mesh?
this is the first time i'm so pissed off by a youtube video, i believe it's not a bad video, it's just that the first three minutes i already don't understand how you get to that.
