After an overnight camp in my van & waiting anxiously for the snow, it finally happened and I was able to go out with my camera and enjoy some winter landscape photography. Unfortunately the snow didn’t last for too long and the going was tough, but all in all I am happy with how the day went.

Hope. you have a car vac LOL
I really enjoy your videos Tom, they are so โrealโ and entertaining.
Dude! Put your hood up, you'll catch your death…. Ok, I'm not your Mother, I'll stop. Love your videos, they're the best!!
wow cool
Good day to you, kind sir
Week three of quarantine: had to watch this for English class. Didn't really help my cabin fever.
WOW what a video, simply amazing. Your favorite is absolutely beautiful.
Oh man! I finally see you vibrant again! Excellent video, perfect pictures, good vibrations, amazing and different soundtrack! At last, your video inspires again! Absolutely stunning work Mr Heaton, my sincere cumpliments my friend, from Brazil, Force!
You photograph a lot in snow and rain with your 5D. You purchased the XT3, but with a non-weather resistant lens. Are you planning to upgrade to the Fuji 16-55 or 16-80 that have WR in the future? Maybe once you get the XT4?
Hey, what an awesome video. Keep up the excellent work! I look forward to your next video.
I really liked the sheep photo, like other people who have already commented… but I think the last image was my favourite. There's a sort of white space on the right hand side that balances the dark tree on the left perfectly, almost like a negative image of it. It's just splendid!
4:40 How did you do that shot? I know you have a slider, but this looks as if it's rotating and descending too. I didn't think you had a full motion control system…!
You need a 4WD or tire chains.
Which part of Scotland did he go? Looks really beautiful
That moment at 7:15 or so when you realize the orange on the tripod tells you Thomas isnโt shooting video in B&W….
Not to cramp ur style but u should wear a seatbelt bro, amazing photography by the way ๐
Thank you Thomas for the Video, it is tourn my out out of Corona News.
Great work ๐๐ฝ
The British weather is so predictable in her unpredictability of what Mother Nature can throw our way. You live and tell the tale because of the wonderful pictures taken. You are knowledgeable, and choose to take us novices along on your adventureโs and show us how itโs done, because you know it makes sense. Thank you, Damian.
Anyone ever tell you that you look like Dave Portnoy from Barstool Sports?
Love the drama in the montage. The can of veggie soup was a great touch and the slamming of the deli…INTENSE!!!
Great video.. My brother climbs mountain this time of year and shoots some nice stuff too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euNFZyA9od4
Photographers do things that other people don't do. Time spent alone in the countryside, sleeping overnight to get pictures, those are memorable times and special moments.
Hey Thomas, have you tried to watch this video with the CC captions turned on? Just watch the first thirty seconds and see what happens…
I guess next we know it will be Delia Smith in the van…
Traveling in a van, shooting landscape, living the life! I envy you ๐
Wow… Nice Thomas
the photos of the sheep epic
I didn't know this became a cooking channel ๐คทโโ๏ธ
questionable image ๐ it looks amazing to me, much different than other snow landscape photos!
Thanks for yet another cracking video Tom. Love the sheep shot the best.
this year there was practically no snow even in Ukraine and in some western regions of Russia, although the climate there is continental
Came across you channel, so being new to this hobby (for me at least) I've watched quite a few of your videos, I notice that if you take a picture it will be between 1-3/1-5 pictures, if it were me, I'd be shooting everything and anything, is there a theory behind that mindset? Do you also use photopills for some advance preparation?
Enjoyable as always but………..Flock of sheep surely ๐๐๐๐๐๐
Thomas, do you know thereโs a Right to Roam act in Scotland. Just because thereโs fences doesnโt mean you canโt go in.
Down to earth and honest vlog, Thomas. Just love watching what you do. Keep exploring, keep b-rolling, keep inviting the community into your photography life. BTW, I just read your 2016 book "Landscape Photography" and I can assure you: no doubts of any kind needed. You make a perfect appearance on camera, very friendly and likeable, just a joy to watch and listen to.
Looking forward to watching more upcoming videos and through that to somehow being part of your amazing photographical and personal development ๐๐
Really loved the Sheep in the snow storm, abstract and beautiful!
hi Thomas, like always i loved your last video, i following you in you tube and Instagram, almost for the beginning of your channel. your channel, your speaks, the way that you describe the feel of landscape photography, all that inspired me, actually in the past I liked photography, but since i saw your videos, it completely change my look to photography, to be more precise, Landscape Photography. I am sorry i never commented your videos in al 4,5 years, but here we are, i wanted to thank you for all this inspiration and information about photography. I lately create a short video. Hope the weather and greats composition for your photos.
Hi Thomas! I really enjoy watching your videos!
Can I take your style of showing photos in my own videos on youtube? Do you mind? ๐
I'm newbie and I can't create my own style of this part of videos for now. But I trying!
p.s. sorry for by English level :))
4.02 ……….๐คฃ
I can relate to the snow chasing, we've had way less snow here in southern Finland than usual. Gotta make the best of snowy days. Great vid and nice shots!
excellent photos , and really nice video congratulations
Next thing you know, they'll call you up to make a cooking show. ๐
Mate that abstract sheep shot is brilliant. One of my favourite shots of yours in a while man. Stunning.
3:06๏ผthatโs funny
Dude, I am TOTALLY a sandwich in soup dipper as well! LOL!
Iโve always respected you as a landscape photographer – and now Iโve seen you are one of the elite who can part a bread roll in perfect halves with your bare hands. Your ascension is complete.
Come to Chicago,,,,,youโll never want to see snow again lol
Herd of sheep?!
