  1. Well I got Lightroom CC 2018 the one that you can reach your data from everywhere. And I dont have metadata setting I can just put copy right info bur I cant change public domain so the status stay unkown:( Can you plz help me

  2. Hi Ed, I found a lot of great video in your channel and I really appreciate that. I like the way you explain things. I couldn't find that video about keywords in your channel. You mentioned that you have one or you are going to. thanks again

  3. Ed, thanks so much for doing these videos. You are not only so knowledgeable about Lightroom but also you have a great way to explain the platform. I'm learning so much. This is the best place to learn Lightroom.

  4. Hello Ed… i'm facing a problem…i don't know how to do it…
i copyrighted my photo and save it then i saw my image properties then check my details… its done
but the problem is, i can change my copyright name from image details….but why ?? if i can change my copyright name from details…. that's means my photos are not safe in internet….
i hope you understand my question… sorry for my bad English

  5. Thanks for the tutorial. Very helpful… One thing i have been wondering is how to make the metadata stand out. There seems to be a way that our Wedding photos had the copyright details appear with the images when uploaded to Facebook. However, the details didn't show when previewing on the computer. Is there a way i can do this with my photography?

  6. Hi Ed @Photos In Color

i like your LR tutorials and learned all my LR through it… and 'm now a little expert on LR doing all sorts of personal editings….

but can you tell me how I write some note on some photo, can be specific for the photo, but don't want to show them in print or while viewing photo in library.
some one said to me to write them in metadata Title or caption, will that be ok?

  7. Great video, as always Ed. Only issue with relying on metadata to provide info to potential clients is some people screen shot images when they're shared (on Facebook for example) and then the metadata is gone. I've always watermarked my images, usually small and have had people track me down via the watermark to purchase images. It's a tough one, cause I agree that watermarks are distracting but I think they're necessary nowadays unfortunately. Thanks again for the great content.

  8. I'm a Mac user also, and this was quite good. However, some fog remains: Most Mac users are familiar with the 'Finder' app, and use the 'Get Info' option on a file to see details inside the file. However, after exporting a RAW file which had copyright information embedded, the copyright info is not presented in the 'Finder, Get info' window. I realize this might be (probably is) a limitation of Finder, but it would be very nice if the copyright info could be inserted into one of the (typically) blank fields that Finder does display. For example, the "Tags…" field, or the "Comments" field.

    Any analysis, comments or work-arounds??
