Note: This video applies to MBLabs version 1.4.0 – none of these techniques work with 1.5.0! Rest assured, there will be an update when I figure out how 1.5.0 works.
Blender is a 3d modeling software package. Manuel Bastioni Labs is an addon that makes it easy to create models of people. This video shows a little bit about how Manuel Bastioni Labs works, and how to make a few time-saving modifications.

Hey there. OK bro, I've been patiently waiting for your 1.5 tutorial 😀 . Will you be doing one?
Very useful informations, thank you.
Hey Slepyhead1 it's me again. I have a rigging question. is there a way to make the pelvis bone grab and rotate like makehuman or rigify pelvis'? Trying to key frame MBL characters is difficult with the way that it's set up now. Especially weight shifting.
Hello again. I need your help once again. I don't know how good you are at texturing but there's a tutorial by cgblender called A realistic one skin with subsurface scattering Blender tutorial that has a great node group download in it. The problem is I don't know where I'd plug some of the MBL textures in to make it work such as the details texture. I strive for photorealism. That's my passion, realistic monsters and characters. I need to find a way to make this shader work with MBL. Can you help? Thank you either way.
OK, 1 human sacrifice coming up,?. Thanks a lot. There is 1more issue with this file. when I try parent the top gown to the rig I keep getting heating error with 1or more bones. Any ideas?
Thanks for diving into the interior of MB labs and sharing your findings. But wouldn't it be easier to just write a little script to add IK to the arms, legs and spine?
Hello again. I'm having a serious issue with my character. I had a walk cycle going, had ik feet & was working on clothing when I decided to save & go to sleep. Much to my chagrin the next day when I open up my file the entire rig won't pose except for the ik handles. My walk cycle still works but nothing else. can I send you my file to look at? I've tried everything I can think of to fix the problem but to no avail.
I have another silly question. I was watching a tutorial on dynamic breast and was wondering if I added them to my base meshes do you think they would come in with initialized females? It seems like a lot of work to have to repeat if there may be a work around.
You Sir are the frickin man!!! I got sooo tired of creating all the different vertex groups for changing the material of my eyes. Now I can have the groups at the get go, plus ik. Life saving info bro. Thanks & peace.
