Any suggestions on making one side of the mirror so the camera can see through it?  In other words, an infinity mirror?

Very helpful and easy to understand your step by step explanations. I'm Doing 1 of my artwork exhibit then i have a problem why my mirror have some kind of freezing effect XD. It's because i used mental ray – presets of thin glass…

Hi Mike, thanks for this tutorial as usual. Even if this mirror thing is easy, I'm struggling a lot. When I try to render it says : output data type "rgba_h" not directly supported by image format iff, conversion performed by mental ray.

Doing some research I tried various fix:

1- Changed Iff to another format (TIFF)
2- Changed Rgba from half to short and from 4×16 to 4×8 bit under FrameBuffer in the Quality Tab
3- Deleted pref in documents and loaded default settings
4- Done various new scenes with a fresh default Maya
5- Even if Maya says that is a rgba problem, the console shows this instead: 12 MB error 301031: call to undeclared function "maya_color_transform_data"

No idea how to fix this. Can you help me? : (
    (I'm using Maya 2015 – Student Version)
