The title could use a modification..
Can I import project to this addon
Thanks for this! Now making video game characters and getting them moving will be quick and easier.
I highlighted my armature, then click Load and Retarget, and I get this:
MakeWalk cannot use this rig because it has:
object rotation
object scaling
Apply object transformations before using MakeWalk
… How do I do that?
You should mix this with your other mocap video
lets hack a kinect xbox one 😉

Guys if your character changed to a position where his legs were bent behind his head
(after doing load and retarget), here's a solution:
The solution is to select some options when importing the character.
After clicking on file -> import -> collada, a window should show up for you to select the collada file.
In this window, on the bottom left there should be a section of options called "Armature options".
Select all three of them, and then import your character.
It should work.

ok so i downloaded an older version of blender to get it working but now I get an error whenever i press load and retarget
it didn't have any bones to work with 🙁

Page has moved to: http://www.makehumancommunity.org
CAN YOU PLEASE SHARE THE MAKE WALK FILE SO THAT IT IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD? I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT
Thank you Rishi Amarani! I have been searching for so long to solve that issue and after taking your advice, It finally worked!
You rock man
Really useful. Thanks for putting this out.
i found it in 2019, sad for me XD thanks btw, i will sub ur channel
by the time I put this comment, the only option It seems to work for me is by copy-pasting., unfortunately, it doesn't work for 2.79c and 2.8(by the time 2019/1/28) but you can copy and paste the make human rig from an older version to the desired version.
For everyone having trouble you need to click all 3 options in the armature options when importing the collada file.
how would you combine 2 mocap files together and smoothly blend between the 2?
c4D has a option to blend / tween both animations into one like a dissolve transition if you will
i require help brother its showing a error how can i send you the screen shot
????
remington is a funny man
Is number of bones metter? How could u know that number of bones of your character is match the number of bones the animation have? It's confuse me
>Desktop>Are you wanna die folder
man, i seriously love your videos cuz those are too much informative 😀
Awesome stuff. Thanks
Remington. Do you know how to modify the mocap info-frams in order to make the walk cycle longer, for example? Thanks.
Is blender an open source software?? I hv motion tracking project to be done, need to knw if it would wrk fr the same.
At least in Blender 2.79 you can import bvh files directly. If not available yet, go to user preferences > add-ons search for bvh and activate the BVH import module. Then simply goto File > Import > BVH and it will import the selected BVH file as skeleton with it's animation. Retargeting it to your own custom model is this way quite easier as you don't have to delete the makehuman mesh first.
great video man, but I;ve got a question, can the key frames' rate be changed to like a more realistic walk or something once applied to the mesh ?
Lol that t rex
