I don't understand how you make the two loops of faces aligned just by grasp in 3:18, can anyone explain a bit🤔
its good but I disagree with the topology in the sides of the forehead and the cheeks.
You have really inspired me to take a try at 3D modeling. You're talent and artistry is really beautiful, keep up the good work!
I have seen a few tutorials out there that are good, but this one is excellent so far. Nothing quite like it for such stylish characters. Please keep it up, I am learning as fast as you can teach!!!!
what do you have on Q button 🙁
Hey Daniel,
Wie kann man shortcuts permanent einrichten? So das wenn ich Blender neustarte die Shortcuts nicht wieder eingestellt werden müssen.
2 years later and still one of the best tutorials I could find
In this part sometimes you pressed D. Probably there is a shortcut at D but you did not say about it. Can we learn what shortcut that is?
Thanks for this tutorial, i'm really enjoying it, I'm doing a thin version of the character but i'm not glad with the nose yet, so I'll keep working, thanks again for this kind of videos, greetings from Colombia :D!
Hello, I'm new to character modeling and I am currently following your guidelines into modeling my own character. During the modeling process for some reason part of the faces are being shaded in a darker tone, it causes the render of the model to have a distinct disparity in shading. Do you know why this happened?
Wow! Wenn ich Überlege wie viele Probleme ich damals mit den Ohren hatte… und hier ist das so einfach gezeigt
xD
it will be much beter if you make tutorial over texturing this cerecter.
pleas make a turoeial over riging this cerecter.
Why does it seem so smooth when parameter view of subdivision surface is only 1?
I have a question, what is the function of a key "Q"? I do not find it anywhere.
sorry for making so many questions the past days >.> how do you do that so fast at 10:33?
This is a very well made tutorial, can't wait to test it on blender. I have a question though, would you have made anything different if your character was going to be animated (lips and eyelids) ?
for the people who read the coments
Ear Modeling : 牛山雅博
There is a nice tutorial on CGcookie about character modeling.
However, I really enjoy your series, keep it going! 🙂
consider using matcap, it's much quicker to try out different shadings and spot errors
Is it good to use cage modifier in subsurf? Because I find that the modeling is easier with this modifier.
das wird richtig gut, und ja es gibt nicht wirklich tutes von anime charas da bist du einer der ersten 😉
I'm pretty sure you could improve on the topology of the forehead a bit, but you did a great job so far. Nice series.
I LOVE your tutorials!!!
