I never understood these photographers that use photoshop for 1/2 the photo. Are we photographers or graphic designers? If it can be done on camera, it should.

Nice videos! This one in particular which is in my area of photography and which keeps me busy for 10 years almost 250 days a year. Not an easy task to photograph jewellery and watches. Very nice that you tried and came up with an OK result… And probably many below that are commenting didn't hear you saying that you are not a product photographer(needless to day Jewellery), so just ignore the negative comments below! Awesome
Would never make it onto a Rolex Ad! too many specular highlights and reflections. I'd remake this video in better quality and differently. try using foam core sheets to bounce light instead of pointing lights directly. also a soft feathered highlight on the glass would make it more 3 dimensional. I love your newer videos! good work.
I like that video, and the fact you've left it here all these years later. It was very real and unpretentious, and therefore interesting and educational.

great video buddy. try to use a remote or a 2-second timer when your taking jewellery shots to avoid micro movements. its good practice no matter what shutter speed your using.
Sorry but that is one of the worst photographs of a Rolex we have come across, you have complicated the watch face with artefacts that should not be there. Looks very messy, loss of detail in the shadows on the front and shadows on the bottom. Compare with Rolex brochure photography in how to do it and practice on that. It does demonstrate why courses should be taken in photography by those who know how to shoot or assist photographers who shoot watches. 😀 All the best.
