simple tips! ?? but can you make tips video for dslr nikon d3100?
great !!
great video
If you extend lower legs on tripod (thinnest ones) the tripod will have bigger chance of shaking.
thinnest legs should be always extended last.
Really enjoying your common sense videos. I have also started the course on Udemy for landscapes. Make as a really refreshing change to do a photography course that is about the pictures not about maths and science, and you make it fun too!
Very useful tips, I noticed you do the same as myself and you didn't mention it: When in a dangerous environment, water, sand, leaning over a cliff etc, keep your strap around your neck until you know your camera is secure on your stand. Here's a couple more: Use old CDs to stand your tripod on, stops it moving/sinking with the sand (but this doesn't work in water) Also clean your lenses & filters before leaving home, it's incredible the damage a grain of sand can do to a glass filter when you're cleaning it on the beach.
Some good solid practical tips. All I'd add is some tips around post processing. Staring with shooting Raw, using a Raw processer (like Lightroom) etc. And finally. Share your work in print or social media.
Good stuff – simple but useful tips! Hope to see more videos like this in the future.
some good tips and I like your sense of humor!
Good stuff! I don't even have a decent camera and am tempted to get one!
