Photography Tutorial & Tips – A detailed Photography Tutorial on “Aperture” with picture samples. This lesson is very basic and important for beginners.
Important Notes:
f/2 = bigger aperture (more light coming in) Perfect for blown up background
f/12 = smaller aperture (less light coming in) Suitable for big groups or landscape photography where you want everything to be sharp.

the video was very useful, i am an ameture and always had a confusion with shutter and aperture which now got cleared after viewing your video. i have recently purchased a nikon d5300, trying to understand things everyday, just one small question, why the internal flash pops out in Auto mode though an external flash is fixed with the camera for more light. infact both flashes burst out flash when picture shot. please clarify if there is a technical issue with my camera.
Very Good For Beginners… Great job sir
Thank you so much for clarifying aperture!

Thank you so much for making this so easy to understand! I am as new as they come to cameras. I didn't know any of the terminology whatsoever and I am trying to gain add much knowledge as I can before my new camera comes in. This was so helpful and perfect for beginners. I will definitely be watching more of your videos!

really this video so much helped me about aperture
Thank you so much for your videos, they are an absolute goldmine & have taught me so much. I recently bought a Nikon D7100 & am still getting to know it.. but there's something that has me puzzled & I'm really hoping that you might be able to solve it.
I have my focus set to AF-S as you suggested, single focus & metering set to Matrix. On the Control Panel, to the right of the little Matrix symbol there’s another little symbol but I have no idea what it is or why it’s there. It’s a little black square with two small white arrows, one on the left & one on the right side inside the little square, both pointing inwards. It has to be something I’ve set on my camera, but I don’t know what. I’d really love to know what it is & if it should be there?
Do you have any idea what it means? Thank you in advance
Aperture Laboratories logo makes so much sense now…I feel so dumb…
