  1. You can simply use a regular brush, press Q to enter Quick Mask, paint, Q to exit Quick Mask and create a selection, and then create an adjustment layer, for almost exactly the same experience. Agreed — this doesn't seem to really solve any problems.

  2. Thanks for the presentation, Unmesh. I like the idea of the new brush. I'm curious about the upcoming developments for that new tool. Photoshop wasn't perfect in the beginning either, but look at what it has become. Your arguments can be important for the further updates of the brush. Perhaps Adobe Corp is watching your channel? There is no one better to demonstrate the power and reach of using Photoshop than you, Unmesh.

  3. This is very similar to the adjustment brush in Lr – but I believe Lr's adjustment brush provides more options. I tend to make slight adjustments to my images in Lr before bringing them into Ps for Freq Separation. Those adjustment brush layers in Lr really give me the flexibility to be very specific with what, where, and how much I want a particular adjustment to be.
