Hey everybody!
I finally made a video answering the most popular question I get: “what programming language should I learn?” I hope you liked the goofy skit at the beginning 😅
I also forgot to mention that I made a Slack team for all of us to chat and hang out at, join here to make friends and learn from each other! http://bit.ly/helloMayukoSlack (case sensitive)
Look out for details on my March livestream on my Twitter and Instagram account!
Hope you have a great day, wherever you are.
x, mayuko

I know python isn’t designed for game development, but would it suffice? Or should I switch to a C language or Java? I’ve only taken a few CS courses at university, so I’m new to programming.
for now i just learning the web programming (html,css,js,php) because my laptop is low
Ohh I couldn't help but noticing that you have a lot of good books in the back(like Armada by Ernest Cline). Nice!
Well Said. It's like a football team trying to choose a favorite offense style. But the main thing they should really focus on is the fundamentals of football regardless of what offense they choose. Fast paced, run style, spread out, etc… They all are good in some way but the fundamentals are key. I agree with you.
Windows 🏝
Hahaha, isn't like what's my teachers said… 😂, Everything are bad exceply PHP
下巴整容了啊
java is the best language :>
maybe cpp(っ╹◡╹)ノ❀
I think it's ok to dive deep into one and any one language and then it will only be a matter of syntax when you want to explore more.
I am looking to get into game development.Can you tell which one is suitable for me?
There was a saying that I heard before that went something like this: "The best diet is the one you'll stick with." For programming, I actually started with powershell, then moved to game maker language, then to c#. Now I'm working on getting my CIW site development associate cert. I plan on using that cert and some projects to help get me in the door with front end dev somewhere (for which I already have a lead), and eventually full stack. So personally I went from curiosity, to hobby, to profession just by sticking to something and moving on from there.
C# & C. Admit it.
C/C++ is the best.
It’s c++
.
Just use your own programming language
I'm learning Fortran, what do you think?
🙂
No skip the ads 🙂
Hi, Mayuko! I have a degree in a field totally unrelated to any sort of science but recently discovered that I very much enjoy coding. A weird question, but, do you think jumping into Computer Science at 25 is too late? I wish I had discovered this interest sooner, I'd hate to feel too old if I decide to take on classes again.
i wanna learn python and java in uni
you are so pretty Mayuko.
虽然听不太懂,但是感觉应该很厉害的样子。😁😁
Machine code!
please teach me … how to make a prize guess program
Asp.net, C#, PHP
How many programming languages should i know as a programmer?
where do you do your live streams? are you doing lessons on programming?
Mayuko san
U need to know algorithms, language is secondary thing u should worry.
my first programming language is C#
Java is complicated. I kinda know the basics, but when they give me an assignment or a question I just confused. Like how can I make it happen.
As an example I got an assignment about smart house. There are smart devices in each room etc. and we have to calculate the current usage using a motion sensor.
So like in a question like this, can anyone tell me how to think about a question like this or any question?
Thanks xx
HTML is not a programming language thou 😀
I am using PL/I right now for IBM mainframe, this is my programming journey
Borland C++ → PHP → APS.Net → VB → C# → Java → Objc → PL/I , R
Good.
I don't think Swift is a good way to start however I would recommend Python !
