how did they model and rig the hair and how they make the breeze effects…
I really don't need animation advice from one of the most notoriously worse animation companies in the industry. No thanks.
why did you change to Maya?
Thank you
Omg i love you!!!!!!
You call this a tutorial? Why don't you actually show how to create the breeze effect and not just paint simple blendshapes …
more rwby-maya tutorials!!!!! 🙂 <3
RWBY"anime wana be" is lame !! get over it ..
I am so glad I stumbled upon this playlist today! I recently started getting into rigging, and it's been very difficult. But these tips and tricks make things so much easier! Also, I really love RWBY, and I've always wanted to know their animation secrets. The fact that this series is RWBY-centric is a huge bonus!
Any tutorial is best!
what soft ware is that
This is amazing guys! Thank you very much!! Just one thing, how did you do to reproduce the blendshape in loop when you float the atribute? I'm trying to use sin expresion in the wheigt atribute, but it don't reproduce perfect my blendshape loop. Thanks!
So about maing Maya affordable to people who don't work in a studio…
I want to see the render setup for RWBY Volume 4, keep up the good Autodesk.
Sine wave deformation… So simple but so effective 🙂
I use Maya, but I haven't the foggiest clue how to make a character model so smooth and well made, never mind all the realistic extras!
Can we possibly get a feature showing how they handle prop handling and IK? The fight scenes in RWBY always baffle me as to how you guys handle the weapon spinning and transformations. Surely you cant keyframe every step and must have some sort of constraint/handle set up?
is there a specific rendering style is used in RWBY….for example I know that during Vol 1 and 2 there was the Cartoon rendering style used in Poser.
awesome, more of these kinda videos that shows the techniques from ACTUAL productions would be great
And I am gonna focus my workflow on Maya and Poser now haha this was so cool! Never knew that kinda stuff was available in Maya
I'm doing an animated short using maya for my animation course in college, I would love to see some more videos relating to using these deformers and setting up the different movement channels that they have on her.
Dude are you fucking kidding me?
Roosterteeth is doing a MAYA 2016 tutorial? My favorite fucking animation show and my modeling program I use almost every day come together as a lesson about a breeze effect?!
Thanks Obama… even tough I live in the Netherlands lol.
Also can you guys post the model to Sketchfab?
I'm just learning to use Maya in my classes, last week
Wow, I've only seen Autodesk used for Architecture and design projects (being a CAD Drafter). I didn't know you guys covered visual animation too
Awesome. In-depth tutorial on the show's design and development pipeline would be fantastic: writing, performances, art, animation, sound design, music, etc.
Best video from Autodesk
so everything on the new rwby is in maya now? including modelling and texturing?
NOW THATS A KATANA!!!
awesome do more tutorial especially how to make it
welp, #RipPoser
