In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we decided to put out a 3D modeling tutorial on sculpting a pumpkin in Blender. Although a Turkey might be more in line with the theme of Thanksgiving, we decided to keep it simple with a pumpkin instead. Hopefully, you can use the techniques in this video to make your VR scenes festive for the holidays.
Welcome to the weekly FusionEd VR Tutorials! These videos/streams are a chance not only for anyone to learn more about VR development, but also a chance for anyone to ask questions about LITERALLY anything! Whether it be about your own VR development, your future projects, or just VR in general, we would love to talk with you about it!
Suggestions for future streams. Post Here: http://fusedvr.com
If you missed last week’s stream, here is a link to that video where we go over how to build an experience about the Greek God Medusa:

Well this an interesting metod to modal a lowe poly pumking
One thing you didn't show in the video, which was giving me trouble in xNormal, is that you must choose smooth shading for the low poly mesh or xNormal will render the maps in a faceted fashion.
Quite simply the calmest, most informative, most economical tutorial I've yet seen on any Blender topic on YouTube. You really pack the facts in. Superb. I would have had to watch hours more of some other people's videos to learn as much.
Thank you very much for another awesome tutorial! 🙂 I really learned a lot from it. I expected only subdivision, but covering sculpting as well made it especially great for me. One suggestion, if I may. If someone asks me what single piece of software I would buy for modeling and texturing, then i'd answer: Substance Painter. I discovered it 2 weeks ago and it is absolutely amazing in combination with Blender. This Black Friday weekend it's even on sale. And it's by far cheaper than Photoshop and more dedicated to the task, i. e. texturing a blender created model. If you do another tutorial, would it be possible to do it in combination Blender and Substance Painter, given that you use it as well? I know there are many tutorials about it, but the 3 tutorials of you guys teach everything that's really important and what you need to create a textured model for unity. They are really great. So again, thank you very much! 😀
Awesome, now people can make the models for games too.
