I haven't played with this function of blender. Thanks for showing this.
Sadly I doubt that will export into unreal engine
If it did life would be very easy
What do you do when you test the animation and the object thats used with softbody falls through the platform?
I love the expression "flat plane of glitchiness".
Hey you just said (my balls) successfully run into entire thing!you`re a cool guy! ..Like and subscribe!
Thanks a lot
you basically taught me how to use blender. thanks
Thanks for the vedio
It helped me a lot
so you could use this to make boobies?8:22
"You'll just have a bunch of balls sitting there". Hahahaha..
is there anyway i can do this with a cube?
O wow
This balls + fluid simulation will probably give me a full body orgasm
How did you make the bodies on which balls fall?
"If I was going to publish it to YouTube I would definitely put more time into it." <Immediately publishes it to YouTube>
Great tutorial as usual. Thanks!
TY SOO MUCH! You allmost burned my cpu ;-;
Darn, Blender looks very good! A modo user here. Physics, particle effects, Cycles and Eevee. And its free (!). I'll have to push myself and pick up a new software. Great video, easy to follow, subscribed!
This might seem odd but my balls just seem to collapses on themselves the moment that they are on a surface that is on a angle no matter how many times I try to change it, any suggestion on where I could look into that?
Hey, I’m havingg trouble with the physics calculations taking too long to bake. It’s a small soft body sphere in a fairly big circuit, like an obstacle course with a couple obstacles. It’s taking way too long to just bake the animation! Thoughts?
can u please gimme ur theme ?
Nvidia Flex can render this real time 60fps meanwhile this does this. Care to explain?
Lovely animation, really nice. The texture and physics done so spot on. Excellent !!!
designed a similar course, balls just falling straight through the platforms. What did I do wrong?
my marshamallows aint colliding with each other the only colide with origins. why is that?
who's remington?
oh my the render view is so smooth for you D:
I have 16 Gb ram i thoguht that mine wont lag too…xd guess its the core then xd
but you not show the whole work in this tutorial when i try to slide the balls on plane its not working
I have my Pull at .8 my push at 0.8 my damp at 7 my plastic at 0 my bending is 5 my length is 0…
No matter what I do, my sphere insists on falling through the plane. I have tried giving the plane rigid body, solidify modifiers, re-making the whole scene, yet it still falls straight through as if the plane never existed. I would very much appreciate some help.
thank you so much! do you mind taking a minute to answer a beginner question here: I am trying to make this soft body animation to a logo for my friend. i received the logo as 2D and watching some videos i was able to convert it to 3D. it looks like it has lots of curves and vertices…. I tried doing limited dissolve. I am not sure how can reduce the mesh ploy/vertices/ curves further to make it easy to animate. it took forever to animate 5 sec of fluid and now trying soft body physics on it didn't work. i feel like i need to make as one shape that is soo low in edges, vertices and so on…. how do i do that? thank you in advance !
For some reason, my spheres pass right through each other, even though they all have collision modifiers. Also, does anyone know how to make a ballistics gel simulation? I can't find any tutorials.
Is it possible to use these physics without a timespan to recreate the way a human heart and its valves are squished? Or would that be better to just build the old fashioned way?
Everyone keeps making Tetris simulations. Why not make a Puyo Puyo simulation. The little jelly blobs need some love too.
I loved that "Adios" ;D
So, I downloaded a premade ball with a lot of detail from blendswap and when I try to modify it with the values you use, my ball vanishes after I change the 'pull' and 'push' values. Perhaps my computer can't handle it? I have a decent GPU with 8GB, brand new…
Ever heard of Mochi Ice cream? Lol
Kill yourself
Fantastic tutorial. Thank you.
I really hope you can answer this question. Is is possible to have soft body physics / collision, work outside of the animation.
So for instance when 2 meshes both with collision, are manually pushed against the another they both deform, as they would in real life. But without animation running. So a mesh could be constructed, using soft deformation? I have about a hundred uses for this, but have no clue if possible, and Googling didn't reap any answers? Thanks for any help.
What about the soft body physics in beamng drive
10:38 how did you open the thing on the left side?? plss
I need help on installing the PBR Shader. Where does the file go?
I know it is a noob question but how do you model the entire construction?
