help!
I'm making an animation that's taking nearly an hour per frame, maybe I did something wrong?
So… no more Anime watching or video game playing while rendering? =(
I only have none in the user prefrences
Very Helpful stuff. If no-one else mentioned it I remember reading somewhere that tiles should be set at multiples of 8 for example 64 x 64 , 256 x256 as these are numbers that processors work best with due to 8 bits in a byte .
Great tutorial, tnx! Please, can you share that scene? I want to render the same scene and see the difference with my render time
nothing about cuda in my settings
my cpu render is faster than my gpu render xd
I render in 8k so nothing helps -_-
Hum… Look at mine… https://twitter.com/Heavenly_Cross/status/872484490593153024
Im using a crappy laptop to do my animations but will get a good pc in the future. I didnt skip and actually watched this twice lol! Thanks for this tut!
I've done this but it takes me 3 mins to render A frame in my 100 sample animation
Do you think RX 480/580 will be the best rendering card once Blender 2.79 drops? Seen some results and dual 580 are on par with a GTX 1080Ti…
6 hours / 6
i need a calculator for this one
Thanks for showing us the AUTO TILES add-on ! It helped a LOT ! (i'm using an Intel Atom CPU)
How do you make the lighting in cycles so that the rendered images aren't blank?
Improved my time for a render from 2:31 to 1:15 by switching it from CPU to GPU, and it dropped to 1:08 after your light paths optimizations.
