Is your rendering like watching paint dry? Speed it up by following these 4 settings:
01 If available, switch computer device to the graphics processing unit.
02 Reducing the number of times a light ray bounces will significantly reduce ray tracing times.
03 Most GPUs can take bigger chunks of rendering blocks to chew on. Let’s increase the tile size so more area of the image is covered in less time.
04 This is where it really counts. Setting the samples very high may not improve the noise that appear in the rendered image at a certain threshold. It’s better to reduce noise as a separate process.
It’s a good idea to render just part of the frame to quickly fine tune the adjustments we just made.
CORRECTION: While holding Shift key, middle click-drag, not left click drag, to move the rendered image around.
