Would have been cool to see where we'd be if they went the ES4 route instead. Funny that MS pushed against ES4 with its typing and then years later developed TypeScript.
Surly I'm not the first but what programming language do you use to make your videos?

I was able to learn js in about a couple of weeks. I had grown up on class based object oriented programming (Java, C#), but once I realized the javascript was object based (everything is already an object), things got easy. Then I learned typescript and angular and had a lot of fun.
And then my company put me on an abominable project using an abominable platform. Pega.
you're ugly

8:33 not true. Event driven, yes. But it's still blocking. This becomes blatantly obvious and extremely painful once you start manipulating strings megabytes in size, or do massive mathematical permutations. In web server applications it actually freezes the entire web server, causing page timeouts.
Fuck javascript. Though, i kinda wonder if there could've been something worse
I wanted to complain about the footage for the video being completely random edits of completely random stuff at times, but then I realized how well it describes debugging JavaScript.
LOL this was dope AF
Holy shit you talk too fast.
Gotta love the asynchronous event handling on Node.JS

2:20 "features that we know and love in modern javascript"
You meant "know and loathe" , right ?
Brandon Eich got fired from Mozilla for hate speech against homosexuals. He's a dick and looking at his profile photo, he likes 'em as well.
