Suri (Raj Tarun) and Uma Devi (Avika Gor/Anandi) are bava maradallu in a small village. Suri’s mother is a poor widow. Uma Devi’s parents are rich. Both of the them stay in a starkly different neighboring houses. Suri and Uma Devi have a nice friendship since they are kids and they never realise love angle in it. Suri is a man of giving and Uma Devi is confused at times. The rest of the story is all about how they realise that they are made for eachother and how they overcome to the rich-poor barrier!

  1. I've fallen in love with Telugu language because of this movie. Credit to this beautiful story and the people behind it, especially the lead actors Raj Tarun and Avika Gor. I watch the song "lapak, lapak" at least twice a day and try to learn the words, its so fun and I love watching Raj and Avika. Punaravi is also good in her character. Thanks for this beautiful movie.

  2. I love this movie for multiple reasons.
    It doesn't include the cliche Bollywood type romance or logics for love.
    It proves love is not about words but actions and efforts.
    No foreign location or high standard actors.
    Just a wonderful pair of actors with a cultural touch. And the language is the best part. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  19. Love this movie! No nonsense or commercial elements. Pure and natural.
    Great music and background locations. Natural acting. Raj Tarun's accent and dialogue delivery is great. Avika Gor's acting is superb. Innocence of the characters is portrayed well. Such a soothing movie. My all time favourite. Would love to see more movies like this.
