thank you for sharing
Great stuff!
this is one of my personal favorites videos
Great tutorial. Although I already knew about the difference between Vibrance and Saturation, the idea of increasing vibrance while reducing saturation at the same time, to bring more "pops" to the image, is quite refreshing to me.
thanks helped me understand better the difference between vibrance and saturation
Did some tests, didn't really see different vibrance behaviour related to brightness.
thanks the best video on you tube…
by the way i like your dancing
mobile YouTube users don't you think the sound is low ?
Thank goodness somebody finally explained the difference between the two. Thanks Ed, you're a rock star!
Hey Ed, I luv the videos! I have been working with lightroom for about a year now, so I've been doing alittle experimenting with different saturation levels. I like to give my photos an almost fantasy like feel to them but what I don't like is when there appears to be a glow around certain objects such as a pier. How do I get rid of this? Look forward to hearing from you
I believe that Vibrance is programmed to have less effect on skin tones (orange). Is that your understanding?
Tks man 😀
Hi Ed. Hello from Russia. Thanks for your work. I love all your video. So helpfull and interesting. Thanks a lot.
Well explained, thanks 👍🏻
Thank you Ed Gregory.
what graphics tablet do you use? very helpful video too, thanks
Great video. They are really helpful.
very helpful
thank you
Nice videos! Can you do one on exporting from LR to FB, IG, and Flickr? Sizes and settings for each for best quality. That would be great! Thanks.
great videos, been very well explained. Was curious to know with the photo that was used, what would you choose for the vibrance and sat. would like to see preferred setting. Ive never thought if going a bit negative with sat, thanks again
These videos are really helpful. Would you please consider doing a tutorial on the histogram? How to use it? What does a "good" histogram look like? Clipping of various tones, colors, etc.?
I really like your tutorial style and a histogram episode would be much appreciated.
Great video. There's one thing I'm not so sure about though.
You say that vibrance affects the mid tones but I thought it affected those colours which weren't already saturated. So in your picture, when you increased the vibrance it affected the rocks (mid tone but not already saturated).
Or have I got it all wrong?
