Hi, this video was very special for me!! I have a website dedicated to zoo photography and all my pictures are taken with a Nikon 5000. My preferred lens is actually the Nikon 70-300.
I wish I saw your tutorial earlier. I came to the same techniques by try and error
I worked as a volunteer in a zoo in Mexico city and loved it, so I'm combining my two passions here: animals and photography

@2007omi The property owner would need to sign a release. That said, I doubt it matters unless the animal or scenery is very recognizable.
@2007omi I've found that most facilities allow photographers full rights over the images, but every zoo is different, so it's always best to check the individual zoo's website. So far, I've only visited one facility (out of around 30) that does not allow the commercial use of photographs containing its animals, and the staff reminded us of that rule before we entered.
Who has the rights to the photo taken at a zoo if you want to sell it?
A pretty nice tutorial/advert for beginners.
For a recent shoot I used the Olympus E-410, a pretty underrated SLR camera.
Alongwith the standard 45mm lens & a 300mm telephoto lens.
