This is the first look into character rigging. Rigging is such a wide area, so these tutorials are going to be uploaded in parts. The first part is:
– Setting up the skeleton.
The next tutorial will be comming soon. In the next tutorial we will be looking at how to setup the leg.
I hope you enjoy this tutorial. Let me know what you think about it, or if you have any subject you want me to look at let me know, by writing a comment.

Wait, around 00:11, what is he doing? I don't understand at all
Hello everybody!
I need help at 5:10, I cannot really understand what he says, so any please explain me how to "parent them together". Thank you very much.
Help. When I try to parent the shoulder joint, it separates from the spine joint.
Great videos. Thanks! I was wondering though if you are running maya on a touchscreen. I can't see your mouse.
Question: When i duplicate and move the joints like at 1:47 i get the following:
// Warning: Joint orientation aborted. joint24 has non-zero rotations.
Will that be a problem later on in the rig? I did everything like in the video. Can somebody help? Thanks
