A simple introduction to the world of Compositing while using render layers. In this video I go over how to separate objects into render layers and of course composite them

Thanks, but I meant if I uploaded a video that I hadn't animated on blender, and therefore can't put on a seperate layer from the rest. Thanks anyway.:)

I guess you could put the eyes on a separate layer, and do whatever you want only on that layer. I'm only starting off with Blender, but that's what I would do.

I would like to know if it's possible to edit certain parts of a video. Like if I just want to tweak the eyes of one of my actors but want to leave everything else untouched. How can I do that?

Great tutorial. very clear and pretty sure will be super helpful.
Looking forward to trying it out.
Still don't understand why "compositing" was on and why it created a prob after a first animation render though.

Thank you for an excellent tutorial as always! =)
I got rid of the dual layer particle-effect by assigning a material to the sphere (emitter) and unchecking "Traceable" under material options.

@mafiameower i covered what settings you need to change in my flame tutorial which is Time and density. You have to be allot more skilled in the texturing department with a candle flame. I was going to make a candle flame tutorial but I did somewhat cover it in my flame tutorial.
