PART ONE: In this episode we will discuss how to model a common tin can. Our ultimate goal is to create an image for use in advertisements, billboards, etc. Because of that, we are going a little beyond realism. Let’s face it. Things always look better in ads than they do in real life.

Where is part two?????
Not for beginners, indeed. Missing part 2, with the texture and mapping it onto the object. After all, not so useful.
also how did you make it into a rectangle, when i do it it makes it smaller but still the same shape
how do you get the menu at 10:22
I cant find part 2!!
After 9:15 how do you make the flat surface on the bottom?
this demo sucks, not a good tutorial when you don't explain how to do something.
Anoying humming noise :/
Much appreciated Chad.
great tutorial.. but when people say "be up shortly" I don't think they mean longer than 3 years for the second half of the video.. lol
to fill the gap, just select the last vertices, extrude and scale in, and then move the new vertices in place of the gab,or where the gab should be and scale/transform them until it looks like the gab of a soda can, its quite easy,… you can do that its just one step ahead of the previous step you took!
and if you want to add an extra mesh into your mesh, just go into edit mode, and add the mesh, if your not in edit mode, it will become a single /stand alone mesh.
Listen I need your help very much do you have a skype or anythingi need to talk to you
