I've been forced to use Blender 2.79b for a recent project…I really wish Blender wasn't such a dumpster fire. I get a headache trying to muddle my way through it, I wish I could just use 3DS Max for everything. Nothing in Blender makes sense to me, just trying to navigate the menus is frustrating.

Free-floating editor windows are interesting. You can get a similar effect by putting the mouse pointer in a given screen and pressing shift-space. That will make the chosen window full screen.

Just thought I would share this with other blender-heads out there… There is an iphone app called iKeyMaster-Blender that is great for learning the keyboard commands. Or just using it as a reference to Blender commands. I found it very handy. I think there is an android version as well but not sure.
