good tip, thank you. i was thinking about how i can make my stitch, i found some realy cool stitch brush for blender, but not for free

my idea was Unwrap, UV export to photoshop/inkscape/gimp, paint a stitch brush there , and come back with the hight and normal map. my idea is maybe to complicate when i see your fast and easy way with low vertex, i think i will go your way. thank you for share

Thanks, i had forgotten the propper method. I had some test model, but couldnt find them. Though i have issues this time with fit curve. This used to work fine, properly only works on a closed curve

The robot voice is just fine,… the slow steps are whats MOST important for beginners like me. Please do not change anything!

    A few comments on this:
1: I don't understand why you insist on applying your modifiers – the whole point with modifiers (and Subsurf in particular) is that it's non-destructive and you can easily go back to previous steps. For seams in particular, it would be useful to be able to reduce the subsurface amount in case you are rendering from a further distance.
2: Instead of guessing the amount of array indices you need to fit the curve, just change fit type to "fit curve". Optionally, you can set the "path/curve deform" propety of the curve to "stretch", so that the seams always fit perfectly.

Other than that it was informative, i didn't know about the CTRL+T command. Useful!

Finally, a tutorial with clear instructions, clean presentation, no waste of time and waiving unnesessary digressions and explanations. Well spoken, understandable for people who do not speak Englisch as their first language and above all, no self-portrayals of a mentor. In the end, you also have a result you are satisfield with. THANK YOU / DANKE

the text to speech is a little annoying, if you don't have a mic i recommend looking into this https://cloud.google.com/text-to-speech/
its Googles text to speech that works off their deep mind AI and sounds much better than generic text to speech. voice over is still better though.
Apart from that this a nice little tutorial, keep up the good work!
