Add your rigid body physics, press alt-a and… my object flies off into the air. Baffled.

With this tutorial I'm attempting to make a sign that hangs from chains using the same principles and aspects applied here. However for some reason the sign with rounded connectors phases through the chains (Which work perfectly). I've adjusted the mass of the chains and the sign worked with the margin for sensitivity. I've applied scale, reset the origins, and even tried making the signs connecting joints bigger but the sign seems to not even recognize the chains. I don't know what to do. It's an assignment for work too so I do kinda need help.

My chain doesnt behave! What now? I already scaled it up and played around with the mass.

i did this tutorial and it worked pretty good but i can't render over the 250th frame, even if i change the frames of the animation it stops at 250, the yellow bar of render cache in the time line stops always there.. do you know what it can be?

not sure if this is mentioned in a later tutorial or not but when you're rotating a mesh you can type in exactly how many degrees you want an object to rotate by using the numpad
