How does a Canon EOS R5 compare to a Sony a7R III or Sony a7R IV when taking photos of wildlife? Chelsea tests wildlife setups of varying prices to show which camera and lens combination is the best choice. Will the SOny’s compact 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 measure up to Canon’s new 800mm f/11? Will there be a difference between Canon and Sony’s 600mm f/4 lenses? Most importantly, how well do the Canon R5s features and the Sony a7r4 features work while taking wildlife photos?

  1. Bumb…Bumb…Bumb? …Bump???? Was it intentionally? It's very confusing why they didn't do retakes. Wait maybe she needs a BMW X7 that will solve it next time haha
Anyways.. They should have really made ads for lens insurances, it would be very convenient and especially funny.

  2. I haven't watched their videos for some months but now I'm going to hi res full frame from aps-c I thought it prudent to tune in again, especially after narrowing the choice to the R5 or the Sony A7RIV.

The videos are very useful and have helped me to decide. However, the most amazing revelation is how hugely capable Chelsea is as a presenter. I had no idea!!

  3. Again, lots of money and tech to get where Nikon was in 2017. If those were put into upgrading D850 we would have had way better camera by now, but Sony would have made way less money.

  4. We'll let you slide on banging the lenses in the trunk! LOL! That squirrel was spectacular! The Sony crushed it! Overall, I think the R5 focus and electronic shutter may get the win though! Personally, I find the challenge of full manual shooting with older Pro lenses to be much more rewarding! There again, I don't shoot for a living!

  5. You guys need to test the M.ZUIKO 150-400MM f/4.5. I imagine it would hold its own against all of these lenses. Not sure if the G9 or the E-M1 MARK III would be the better body for it but, practicality wise; that combo wouldn't be beat by these guys.

  6. This is a master class in how NOT to handle your gear – hit the camera every time that you get each camera out of the boot & drive around with $60,000 worth of gear in the boot un – protected. Any photographer will tell you that is criminal & a sure way to depreciate your camera's value. Remind me not to lend her any of my gear! Other than that it was a good video.
