  1. Fantastic tutorial! I have one question though… you mentioned that the skinning is only done by selecting the MAIN Arm joints. So exactly how do you do this? In the Outliner? Thanks.

  2. I was struggling so much with the rigging but thanks to you I finished my first rig. It's not beautiful, but it's mine and I'm proud of it. Thank you for these tutorial, you've helped me a lot.

  3. Just finished off 5 of the 7 tutorials. GREAT !!! Started to listen to 6/7 and discovered that you were looking at doing Facial Rigging. Then noticed the dates you last were here. Shame you didn't continue. But thanks again for what you did share with us and learned a lot. Well explained.

    Cheers & THANKS

  4. Just wanna say that this series has been a HUGE help for me! A few things go a little wonky when working from 2015 to 2016, but it wasn't anything I (or someone with the least bit of experience with the system) couldn't figure out. Thanks a bunch!

  5. I'm more of an environmental artist/level designer. Now I'm learning about character modeling and animation. This video is a perfect "Parachute Pack" in my Crash Course in learning about modeling and rigging!!

I love how you don't insult your viewers as if we're in pre-school and you don't blaze through the tutorial as if we are masters of Maya. You do an excellent job of instructing and guiding us. Thanks a bunch!

  6. I already followed all the steps, but i have a problem. Do you have any tutorial on making the global scale of the character because if i wanted to scale or resize the character, the rig won't follow the character. Please help. Great character tutorial by the way.
