Some (non-photorealistic) tests using the new Cycles render engine.
There are some frames missing in the fluid simulation (due to recurring crashs). That’s why it’s stuttering.

cool but sherlok Daniel style
😀
so fucking great!!!!
a little advice for you, try rendering in png instead of a video file, this way you won't lose frames if you render
Can u do somethin like that for me? Maybe I can pay 😀
1 person disliked this? Must be envy.
Would love some tutorials on the particle work, top notch stuff
Jesus, my laptop would fry hardcore just trying to render one frame of that simulation. I don't even want to take a guess at what your hardware specs are. Im guessing it is something relatively pretty decent for today's current hardware market
how long did it take you to render this?
@TheFXGuy @NionsChannel there is alread a patch and a python script available for meshing. Unfortunately I cannot post links here 🙁
ok, just one question: how long? ^^
btw. i love it
Cycles! Instancing! *Drooooool* (Note to self: Get a decent graphics card soon)
Very nice, you showed you skill again. I love to see some new tutorials from you. At least can you say how did you force cycles to render particles at all! Were they rendered as small objects with glowing material, or what? In my tests, Cycles just simply don't render particles at all.
wow, that is impressive! I really hope for volumetric rendering being implemented in cycles.
I WANT YOUR COMPUTER!!!!!
@jamwaffles How you included my computer made me smile xD
@TheFXGuy I'm waiting for that, too.
@enzym Tiny spheres were used for the first animation, and trianlges for the second one.
Awesome my friend,.Respect,.!
Why didn't you use a material with the glass shader for the water? Cool stuff anyway keep up the good work.
Absolutely astonishing! Can't wait for cycles top completely support opencl, I want to take a crack at it with my firepro v5800. How much ram do you have? that fluid simulation looked very good, I have 16 but I haven't made one look so high res before
