IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE A HALF SPHERE WHOSE OUTSIDE IS MADE OF BLACK COLOR MATERIAL WHICH IS NON REFLECTIVE AND INNER SIDE IS MADE OF GLASS WHICH REFLECTS EVERYTHING ?
how can this be achieved in blender ?
IMAGINE UNWRAPPING A SPHERE..
when computers reach that stage, it will be a huge step for mankind
Can you do a tutorial on tileable procedural textures ? So that we can use in game engine ?
[BLENDER 2.79]
IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS:
Make sure you have "CYCLES RENDER" at the top. Then, go into the material tab on the right, change where it says "DATA" to "OBJECT", and then click the plus sign. Now you can add your texture (material?) and change "VIEWPORT SHADING" to "RENDERED".
That should work, unless I missed typing a step.
hey when I try to make a brick texture using this method it just shows up black. I've tried uv unwrapping it and messing with the colour nodes in the node editor. Do you know what I should do?
Shift+z . Whats that?
How do we do this in 2.80?
Does anyone here know where I could find how each node works mathematically. Ive been struggling to find that stuff.
Man learning how to texture is quite hard….
We haven't learnt this yet, can you tell us what "shift+z" shortcut does?
It seems this tutorial is PRE v.2.79, the surface tab including the little dot is missing in latest version. This makes this tutorial not accurate.
I tried to make 2 different Textures mixed together with the add shader and with the mix shader: Brick Texture and Magic Texture through the Node "Add Shader", it doesnt work and i tried the same with the node "mix shader", it goes after all through the material output.Β It doesnt work. Why i cannot mix textures together? Do I Need the Layer System to mix it together?
i made a white table and add a torus on the table and tried to give it a light white color for making a bakery item
but when i applied texture so it was rending one texture on table and also on torus.
even only torus was selected and activated
any help ?
4 people missed the like button, and clicked a little too far right…. They should have gone further and hit that big red box.
hey its totaly different in the new version please make a video pf uv wrappin and generated texture for the new version
Hey guys, how about blender 2.79, these steps are still correct?
Shift+Z and my render view shows just a grayed out cube with no textures π₯
I also have a different material menu as compared to the video
TELL HOW TO UNWRAP IN 2.79 VERSION
I have a different material menu then in this tutorial, I'm completely lost now
OMG so many tutorial is freaking awesome ππππ
So many tutorials all of a sudden… thanks!
