Hello. I'm receiving "Bone heat weighting: failed to find solution for one or more bones" error. What did i make wrong?
(I applied recalculate and remove doubles options and there is no active add modifier element) Please help!
my bone structure isn't attaching with the mesh.i have seen lot of video tutorials, but they didn't help.once i set the parent of skeleton, mesh doesn't move with bones rotation.
I've followed your tutorial but the automatic weights option never works. My model is made up of 1 object that I spent ages in blender making, is there something I'm missing because every single tutorial's models follow the bones after people use the automatic weights. The only model I've successfully rigged in one that was made up of several objects.
want to make it walk how
thank u adam i like this tut wish u put more vidoes
But it doesn't rotate the modell for me 🙂
he says ya-da ya-da ya-da to much
Ridging has many attvantidges over Rigging. It helps keep the boons in a Linemint. Put the Lime in the coconut.
You're not "ridging" anything. You're "rigging" it.
it dosent work
Great tutorial! The only problem is when I try to assign the parenting to "Automatic Weights" I get an error message: "Bone Heat Weighting: Failed To Find Solution For One Or More Bones." If anyone knows how to fix this, Please tell me, Thanks.
i use linux too!
what are the things we have to consider regarding the axis(orientation) of bones …
and Can we add bvh files to this … ? …
All in all though, it's a good tutorial and there is lots of good information in it.
Bones are not connecting with mesh in pose, mode how to do this
Thanks for the awesome tutorial! After some messing around I finally got it to work. This will really help me for a animation video that i'm thinking of doing (I haven't got an a idea of whats its going to be)
az — it's not prounounced like ridge. it's prounced with a hard "g", as in big, or gun, or wig.
It doesn't work. ;c
You need to talk more clear.
When you extrude it or whatever you were like
'So you need to extrude it, to do that go topido hyshee!'
wtf
can i download that human?
you sound tired, but this was very helpful, thanks man
the problem i am facing is that when i do ctrl+p than choose automatic weight option after that like you show when you rotate the metal rig the hand also rotate with it,but i don't know why am i unable to do this thing..plz help..
Racist cunt?
I Get a error bone
I have a problem.I have downloaded a model and when i add the bones and im done when i have to selecct the mesh and then the bones i only can select a few pieces of the mesh.
That is because the character is made from more meshes and they are bringed together.
How can i still select the character with the bones?
bro how do i connect the bones with the mesh???? im using a mac and im shit confused
02:00
he has a stick coming from his crouch
Every time I try to parent the mesh is says "Bone heat weighting: failed to find solution for 1 or more bones."and the mesh won't move with the bones.please help.
I Though this was a great video , i spent hour with weight paints , i spent 5 minutes after watching this and have now rigged my first character , yadayada, well done
Completely done with all models but I would really like ur help
How far are you on developing to model for the movie and, what is the complexity of movements you want the models to do. Many things go into account when rigging a character for animation and it is important to understand how far you have come in developing the models.
Can you please rig a few models for mee i promise when i get the money ill find a way to get it to you just pleaseeeee do it for me im 12 if you go to my channel you will see the trailer to the movie im making Please!
that is probably because you have connected the rig to the body or else you are trying to model is in pose mode, make sure you are in edit mode when you model it and make sure that you dont connect the armature to the body until you are finished
alright i watched like 4 mins and i wont watch a secund more. dude use mirror on the rig when you model it… apply X Mirror and hold shift and click "E" when you making your arms and legs and stuff. your rig will not move the same om both sides. nice to see that you want to make a tutorial but seriously take a look at some tutorials and learn some more before making your own tutorial…
The bird died like 4 months ago and was a Quaker. I know I come from English descent so Unless someone in my family tree was Jewish that I don't know of, no neither of me or the bird is Jewish. Also I have never been to Disney land. If I may ask, what aspect of the video did you find terrible? I would appreciate your feed back so long as you go into detail of what part of the tutorial you didn't approve of other then my use of words.
-Happy st. Patrick's day.
Lol yadayadayada, are you Jewish or Is your bird…do u like disneyland? this was terrible yay!
when i rig one bone the whole body move with it!! PLZ HELP!!!
does it only work with cubes. becouse i want to make fancy pants 3d but the cilinders as arms and body don't work
thanks to your tutorial! it really helps.
got it, you need to select all the bones AND the mesh to parent it.
emm, im in object mode, the skeleton is inside my mesh and I do (Ctrl + P then "with automatic weights") and then go into pose mode and it does nothing, moving the bones doesn't move the mesh… is it slightly different in the newer blender?
Sorry I don't have the File anymore… best luck with you though 🙂
umm, can you put the rig in the description?
I'm having a tough time doing it.
This is actually a basic rigging, I wouldn't call it "well" rigged. You do not explain kinematics or any of the other topics that go along with a good rig.
And you say Yadda 107 times.
Would not recommend.
I like rusty spoons
