  2. anyone know how to do the night light section with blender 2.78? I have the image and bump map working but I cant get the color ramp part to work. I have only been working with blender for a few months now, thanks

  3. may i ask why the gradient ramp would "react" to the shading of the sphere?? when i did this project in 3ds max, when I adjusted the lighting direction, the night map would adjust itself, I always assume the gradient ramp is a static map that tell where an how the two materials are blended together. Just want to understand the mechanism a bit more. thanks!!
