It’s always nice to try something a bit different when doing Landscape Photography. The tripod can restrict your creative streak so on this shoot i decided to leave it in the car. Shooting hand held is liberating and whilst it has its restrictions i urge everyone to give it a go. Kennack sands in Cornwall was the ideal place to get creative and get those rollers as they crashed towards the beach.

Hi Paul, I was pointed to your channel via a recommendation by Andrew Marr, and all I can say is wow! I have now binged watched every one of you vlogs from the beginning to your latest one over the last few days, I have laughed, cried, smiled, gasped, cringed, been amazed and in awe of your work, you really are a talented artist with your photography, you seem to find a composition that us mere mortals simply cannot see, you make the simplest subject matter look amazing! I cannot believe you only have only 6k subscribers, I am sure the numbers will rise quite rapidly once the word gets around about your vlogs, I will certainly be fighting your corner for you. I love the fact that your vlogs are very simple but so effective, have you considered organising some workshops? I know you said in one of your vlogs that you are not trying to teach, but you have a very good eye for a composition, many of us would love to have a few pointers and with just a few simple tips and tricks from you, we would be well on our way to achieving that. Finally, if you are ever down in my neck of the woods (Portsmouth) send me a message and I will buy you a cup of tea and a bacon butty. Keep up the fantastic work!
I am currently in Bristol and based on your videos, I am having my very first bacon butty!! Nice ๐๐ป
Great tips yet again Paul
Rather you than me Paul. Love the images captured but I'm not sure that I would wade into the surf quite so confidently.
Great set of images as usual Paul
Another cracking video Paul ๐
CLASS
Stunning colour in image number 3 – must get the waders out and try this myself!
great vid paul once again!! ๐ ya funny fecker ya…
another amazing video and lovely pictures
Hi Paul, another cracking video. Beautiful crisp images…you make it look so easy….i hate you lol! Budgie smugglers!! You crack me up! Cheers. Gerry
Great job with the last shot, it looks super moody and the smooth water makes the texture of the rock pop out even more! Out of the shots with high shutter speed I liked the black and white the most. It had a very interesting texture, looking forward to your next video!
Once again a great vlog. More nerve than I would have walking out in the waves with my gear but hey, certainly makes for a good angle and quick shooting when hand held.
love your images –stop mentioning bacon butties it makes want to go have one everytime–lol
Budgie Smugglers!! I think that would break the internet ๐ฎ
Great vid as always, love the pics of the rollers – a nice change. Please at least use a wrist strap though.
Paul, you always make me smile. Great images presented with fun. Good man ๐
what great images of the the sea breaking
Another great video. I'm going to have a go at catching some wave shots next time I'm at the beach.
Hi Paul, great cap…go Yankees. I know straps are a pain, but you make me nervous when you are in the water. Great shots, sorry images. Really enjoyed the departure from the 'normal' landscapes shots.
very nice Paul! although I must say it was slightly unerving watching you carry your D800 out into the waves without any form of wrist/cuff strap. Highly entertaining as always!
Those images turned out well mate. The photo with the rock in the center at 10 23. Did you use a flash or was it natural light?
Vlog just keeps getting better , so laid back and down to earth , great job !
Absolutely bloody brilliant, I love this guy and as ever after every vlog, I scoop up my gear and off I go in search of my own piece of utopia. Excellent, excellent, excellent, Thanks Paul……………………………Peace X
Thanks very much, I will. ๐๐๐ป
Good to see you freeing yourself from the shackles of a tripod Paul. Excellent stuff
