can not find the tutorial of this on your website..can u please give the link for this tutorial..
You're the best teacher. Thank's.
Loved the tutorial. However in the finished animation the text doesnt start to render untill about half way and what parts of it that do render are blurry and fuzzy looking. The volumetric lighting renders then disappears almost instantly. I did leave out the gemstone so I skipped some steps involving it.
thumbs up with your tutorials
I follow this man n got something finished, i tried to go ahead n link to you just to show. thanks for the tut! great work.
Nice
I just make a huge wall behind everything and set the diffuse colour to whatever I want.
I want this with my name and change gem to colorless. Call me 917-570-3112
Give me a call I want to hire you 917-570-3112.
What sample rate was this rendered at? I am debating on what to use and if I should rent Amazon's Super Computer to do the rendering for me. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Andrew!
First of all I would like to say you that I like your tutorials very much. I'm just creating the Logo Animation, but I have a problem and I got it in my other scenes rendered by cycles too.
If you set the Viewport Shading to "Rendered" the background on your one is black, but mine is white and it doesn't look good.
Have you any idea how to fix it?
Have a nice day!
Moritz
Andrew you can make volumetric lighting in blender saw it in wireheadkings tutorial in interior modeling part 7

HI, I hope you read this but it is not likely. My family owns a theater company called Emerald Theaters and I have spent months trying to make a good intro logo and this would be perfect!!!
Do you mind if after this tutorial comes out, we actually use it?
i forgot what I was watching and thought this was a fancy intro to a video, then was confused when it was over.
very nice!! i like how the emerald really stands out
Thank you 🙂
Hahah. Great!
Tutorial must be released now good sir
indeed and it's a good one 🙂
Can't wait. This is great timing for me as I can't easily create what I need in most commercial editing programs.
CAN'T WAIT FOR THE TUTORIAL
Daniel Kreuter is working on a short film where he used a dust particle system similar to this effect. You can follow there short film at lukesescape..com , he has a tutorial on how he done that effect.

Awesome! I have made intros using Blender for some time now so it's great to finally see someone like you do as well 😀
This how ever is a really great render!
Awesome work 🙂
Oh wow! I tried something something similar a few weeks ago, but settled for something simpler to get it done in time :U
Would be so glad to actually know how to achieve something like that :3
