  1. Loved the tutorial. However in the finished animation the text doesnt start to render untill about half way and what parts of it that do render are blurry and fuzzy looking. The volumetric lighting renders then disappears almost instantly. I did leave out the gemstone so I skipped some steps involving it.

  2. hey, thank you for the great tutorial.

  3. Hi Andrew!
First of all I would like to say you that I like your tutorials very much. I'm just creating the Logo Animation, but I have a problem and I got it in my other scenes rendered by cycles too.
If you set the Viewport Shading to "Rendered" the background on your one is black, but mine is white and it doesn't look good.
Have you any idea how to fix it?
    Have a nice day!

  4. HI, I hope you read this but it is not likely. My family owns a theater company called Emerald Theaters and I have spent months trying to make a good intro logo and this would be perfect!!!
Do you mind if after this tutorial comes out, we actually use it?

  5. Daniel Kreuter is working on a short film where he used a dust particle system similar to this effect. You can follow there short film at lukesescape..com , he has a tutorial on how he done that effect.

  6. Oh wow! I tried something something similar a few weeks ago, but settled for something simpler to get it done in time :U
Would be so glad to actually know how to achieve something like that :3
