    @ArtfulDodger94 Make sure to set your point of origin, Hold D+V whilst in the Translate tool (Move tool) and drag it to a middle vertex (point)

    when i did the duplicate special it dubs in the x axis, even thou i entered the same info as you did

    Was re-aligning the origin (centerpoint) of the book to the corner, so it will be flush when you duplicate it.

    Sure thing, I must tell you now though, bridge is an evil tool, that screws everyone over.
    might do something on the new Re-Toppo tools in Maya 2014

    the original shape is a cube. I hadn't deleted the face yet, so it's still there, otherwise you may use the edge, and extrude using that.
