Code Canyon

https://i.ytimg.com/vi/dAHffOISTNw/hqdefault.jpg

This is a tutorial my son did last year when he was 7 years old. He wanted to have a go at doing a tutorial after seeing me do a few.

He loves to make things and loves using Maya.

Hope you enjoy his tutorial and please keep feedback clean as he will be reading it.

lol Yes its like that sometimes. The good thing is if a child can have the will do learn this then we can do anything!

Well its a very rewarding area you're studying!! I know I honestly LOVE Modelling and programming . . modelling more. Its something most people will never know or understand. Yes I am proud of him, not because he is smart or anything because he is willing to have a go! I think many adults underestimate kids! I learned that the hard way when I was so reluctant to teach him maya at 6, because I already decided he wouldn't have the mouse coordination, let alone understand 3D Space. I was so Wrong

I'm Thomas' Dad. Firstly I would never have believed he could learn to use it, let alone a year later actually try to copy me by doing his own tutorial. He was really persistent in trying to learn to use it and would cry when something went wrong with his model. My point was he really worked hard at it and proved me wrong in so many ways. Persistence is the key. Good Luck 🙂

Don't! The reason for this upload was: If a child can persist enough to learn this then no reason why you can't do anything you like . . NEVER GIVE UP
