May I do a quick suggestion? Since it is still in development, I believe there is room for a small change: It would be great to have a checkboxes individually for viewport and render. Instead of enabling simplify for the render, but keeping it with values of 6 and 1 (which do not simplify anything), users would be able to check "simplify viewport" and/or "simplify render". What do you think?

I always forget to uncheck the simplify option before rendering… NOT ANYMORE!!! 🙂
