Street Photography in Bangkok and Hong Kong 2017

Welcome to my 2017 Bangkok and Hong Kong travel series. I have tons of content on its way, but this video is an overview and sneak peek of what’s coming up in the coming weeks. The main event was the Monogram Asia 8 x 8 Streetphotography Workshop in Bangkok. It was a huge success, and it was an honour and privilege to have been part of it. I thank Victor and Carmen of Barton 1972 for being part of my team to film the event. I also had a few smaller events, such as my film shootout, sponsored by CineStill Film and Meteor Hong Kong. Big thanks always to Helen and Florence of Fujifilm Canada for their continued support of my brand. Enjoy this introduction video, but stay tuned for more content coming soon.

Thank-you for all your support. If you liked this video, please go samurai on the LIKE button, and don’t forget to tell your friends. I would love to grow this channel so I can make more of these travel series videos throughout the year.

  1. hey BHT, would like to know, what focal-length lens goes best with Leica M10 Frame-lines ?
    28 or 35 or 50mm ?

how good is the new 35 Cron Asph when paired with M10 ?

It has 11 aperture blades, was announced – Jan 2016, and is Eric Kim's favorite as you know.

This is the only lens i may ever need for Street, Cafe, Outdoors, Nature.

It is unfortunately showing as out of stock in Leica website, for pre-order.

Which 3rd Party lens would you suggest in place of the 35 Cron ? . . they are 1/3rd or less in price too :

    Zeiss 35mm f/2 Biogon T* ZM versus Zeiss 35mm f/2.8 C Biogon T* ZM

Voigtlander Nokton Asph 35mm f/1.2 II versus Voigtlander VM 35mm f/1.7 Ultron Asph

    Zeiss 50mm f/1.5 Sonnar T* ZM versus Voigtlander 50mm f/1.5 Nokton Asph

Voigtlander 35mm f/1.2 gives beautiful soap bubble bokeh . . . (but it is not available in Silver finish/color which i like).

is it ideal to go with native Leica Lens only ?

I don't know if i would go with Summarit, as they are slow at f/2.4 and also may not be as good in build quality as the above lenses !

    thanks, regards.

  2. That was really well thought and executed, as far as the video, Take. Well done. Keeping it rolling, dynamic, informative and making use of that big heart of yours by clearly featuring everyone else plus the film and the gear. You're the best, man, at being there for others, mediating, helping people connect, and that is one of the reasons why they (we) follow you and like you. ???
