Do you have a video to explain your additional work on that texture? I'm particularly interested in what you did for color palette (not sure if you were going off a source image & color picker or not) and even brushes and paint modes. Thanks!
there's no 'texture' option in the add nodes thing HELP
Wow this helped a LOT! I know nothing about Blender, and modeled my thing in F360. Blender made it a bit more complex than it needed it to be but I managed to texture my pic. It's more a joke model for sfm to be used as a pose ref but I wanted to learn to texture, and also sfm requires a texture lol
you open those extra screens for the node editor and uv wrap but how do you get rid of them?
oh no my eyes… YOU DID IT SO REALISTIC AND MY EYES CANT LOOK AT THAT BEST VIDEO AND TEXTURE
who needs expensive softwares like Substance Painter when you can use blender!
grant abbit how can you put the faces of the 3d model manually into the uv map? Is because i made 2 mistakes on mine. I was making a shield and when i finished i started colouring it. After that i realised i forgot the grips and something on the side of it… so i edited it to make just that and used the mirror modifier to help and now only half of the faces appear on the uv map and because i added stuff to it if i do the smart uv project it doesent work well so i want to put those faces into its places on the uv map manually. If you need more info i can try to make a video for you to see.
it works but when i paint the places that have more polygons more than 6 it does not work 🙁 if you want to know what i'm making i'm making a crowbar. if you know whats going on please tell me
thanks
your voice is dead inside
material isn't showing up in the Node selections
Hi, how are you? Everything okay? how do i have 3d texture in it? how would texture be part of 3d?
this is shit theres no explanation whatsoever i did everything like u said and nothings happening and i have no idea why and i have no idea wtf im doing
Can I also paint textures in blender internals engine?
Thank you 🙂
Excellent !! I had to connect the imagetexture box to Diffuse BSDF box (color – color) to get the painted image rendering
two links about texture painting in description link to the same video
Here is a tip for you guys out there, If you make your image more bigger, you get a much better and less pixelated result! A 3072 by 3072 would work unless your working on a 3D video game, then it should be lesser than 2048.
With such quick and easy tutorials I really hate myself for still being so behind when I could have been done with an entire game already. And even more talented and skilled people also waste their talents and skills on nothing, or just doing something small and nothing big in their spare time. Imagine how many Rayman 2 or Ratchet & Clank level of games we could have right now if people who could would instead of maybe if somebody wants a glimpse
when I render the painted object, the painted colors go away. What am I not doing?
Worthless
U button is not working for me, it just shows "make single user"
click on what?
how do i start painting? it cant find it
A fuking maizing
is it possible for me to make an already coloured image texture more detailed in px. As i want to change it from 1024 to 2048
how can i make object mode show the texture i painted?
Why are my strokes so pixalated when i draw on my object?! How can i increse the layersize? I read something about texel density but i cant size the uv maps up anymore or it goes over the uv space. I already use 2048×2048 texture resolution but it doesnt matter…help!
