Thanks to John Maloof we know Vivian Maier work
and we have an idea of her life behind the camera.
Maloof was writing a book on history when he happened
upon pieces of Vivian Maier work. He had the sensibility
to understand what he had at hand and the generosity
to share with us the work of a great photographer.

These photos are so human…so beautiful. Thank you.
5:12 this photo is not from V.M. Its from Elliot Erwitt
jesus! can you post this without Nazi deathcamp music??
Thanks… this is simply incredible
Magnifique !
Omg I didn't expect Vivian to capture a photo ofa Malay guy in 7:54 if I'm not wrong he's gonna get married based on his clothing
there is not even one pictute of her smiling… 🙁
Who was this women?! So much talent and no one knew anything!
She was a genious photograph, she capture amazing moments and faces on street…sadly she died poor and alone, and after death became famous, like so many greatest artists in history…
A friend of mine said about this documentary and said I was like her in away. This is awesome stuff. Great photographs throughout her life, same as me in away. Thank you for sharing this.
I cried like a baby looking at these photographs. Vivian's work brings me very deep memories. Thanks to John for sharing her work, and many thanks to you Josefina for this editing.
An other special lady.
Thank you for finding and sharing. Very moving. Every photo tells a story. ..without the help of photoshop. Inspiring.
Spectacular really captured her “slice of life” attitude.
Trés belle vidéo , j'ai connu cette dame aujourd'hui dans une émission de radio , une sacrée bonne femme !!!
All these images should be free public archive, what Maloof is doing is just pure greed.
IMHO a better photographer than Henri Cartier Bresson.. By a mile…
Beautiful video . Thanks 😀

A touching tribute to a great photographer. Thank you for sharing.
very very moving . . . . . beautifully put together
as good as any snapper anywhere, amateurs do it better… just Brilliant
Fantastic exhibition of this great and incredible woman photographer by passion. Through images we perceive the life of many people as a story, I find his photographs fantastic. Too bad he hasn't enjoyed his well-deserved worldwide success.❤️
Таким чувством кадра не обладал и Картье-Брессон.
In this sense the frame is not possessed Cartier-Bresson.
the music on this is absolutely perfect! its such an amazing thing to see so much of someone's life through photographs.. really GREAT photos too.
I love her work she was a great street photographer her work is powerful and full of emotion.
I am so glad that V.M. was discovered by a person like John Maloof who recognized the value of the photographs and organized them to present to the world. John, you are a good man.
