This Maya rigging tip describes the process for creating controls which are comprised of multiple curves (including text curves). I also cover workflow for assigning custom colors using the “overrideColor” option.
I’ll be posting more tips and tutorials soon.

Great tutorial Jason thank you!

Loved it *x5
Great Tip, Thanks a lot
I LOVE your videos they are so useful
thanx very much
great little tutorial, could you tell me how to do the opposite, i have received a model from microstation and i have 100s or shapes under one object(transform), how can i quickly give these all there on transform node? thanks in advance
your tutorials are fantastic!
Muchísimas gracias
Thanks Jason ! I also did all your courses at Lynda.com.
I am having an issue with this procedure here though:
after the composed "object" is created, freezeTransform & history deleted, if I do a File/Optimize the Scene Size with all options on, the curves disappear.
Why is the Optimize algorithme flagging these curves as "invalid"?
Thanks for any help !
