In this short tutorial I walk through the many different ways to create light in Blender Cycles.

Well, cool tutorial but… no info about lights presented in the thumbnail.
One of the most useful Blender videos ever. Precise and quick. Thanks for posting this.
I wasted a lot of time trying to find help in Q&A about lights functions. Then I found your video, everything I needed to know. Thanks!
Thanks for this tutorial. It's the first time I understood how to set up lights in Blender. I've been waiting for years for this 🙂 Shame on me that I didn't find your video earlier.
Holy crap man, this is simply one of the best tutorials I have ever seen, it's so simple yet so informative and gave me a new perspective on how can I use lights in my scenes, thank you very much! Sub!
How do you able that Sampling I cannot find that On my UI
Thank You!
You sound like Stephen Merchant, It's so awesome!! You have an amazing narrative/commentary voice. Love it.
Great video!
Another informitive tutorial. Maybe you can help me with a lighting issue. I'm tring tocreate a tomb scene that's windowless but everytime I try to preview it in render form it's just black. I've tried adjusting the light strengths and sizes but to no avail. Any advice?
AWESOME tutorial! Thanks!! ^_^
Thank You so much that actually helped a lot

YOU ARE SO HELPFUL!
thanks ! very good tutorial !
Thanks.
Viewport rendering is slow,I use GPU compute, I have i3 and 2GB AMD graphics card. What could i do to speedup rendering?
i am being stupid and prob missed it but did you cover the point light please?
Thank you 👍🏻
A fantastic, action and information packed tutorial. I stand in awe of your educational skills. Kudos sir, kudos.
You looking for light tutorial? Here you go buddy from BFAB 🙂
very helpful, thanks a lot !
Great result, but a tutorial that assumes you're an expert with the abominable Blender UI. Thanks for the humility, but holy crap your quick mouse/keystroke combinations not showing what the hell you did adds orders of difficulty to what is paramount to getting the most out of this example.
