In this five part series we will be looking at using #Maya’s utility nodes to create a detailed facial #rig, while also using a combination of joints and blendshapes.
In this fourth video we begin to connect the mouth controls to the joints using the condition and multiplyDivide nodes.
This #tutorial was originally featured in issue 211 of 3DWorld magazine.
Huge thanks to 3DWorld for allowing me to share these with you. Make sure you check out the magazine, and subscribe.

Heya Ant, wanted to ask a question, how did you label your blendshape controllers? I'm aware you can label joints but I'm unsure how you'd do it for nurbs controllers. Thank you 🙂
how fo you make texts near the GUI?
conditions yay!!:D
спасибо большое сэр!
Hi! Thank you for the tutorials, they've been great so far! I just wanted to ask, how do you limit that NURBS circle for the jaw controller inside of the box it's in?
What do you use to make the GUI or so you make it by hand or have any script should make a tutorial of that thanks your videos are really helpful to have some new techniques about rigging
