I am from the school that the best way to learn is by seeing and doing. In Part 1 of this tutorial I will show you as I am shooting exactly how changing the F Stop will effect your final image. I am more interested in showing you the effect of changing the F stop more so than worrying about the overall exposure.

  1. I was a photographer. But I wore the camera on my head with a switch in my mouth to control the shutter in sport mode. I was a free fall photographer and it wasn't until I was injured and couldn't jump that I started really seeing what my camera could do. Thanks for the video.

  2. i kick myself for not understanding this not too complicated concept years ago. seriously if your into or interested in photos of people its really a must understand aperture and getting a lens that has the option for it more…

  3. The way you explained this was so simple and straight to the point and actually seeing the difference helped a ton. I feel like I actually learned something as opposed to having random technical terms thrown at me.

  4. Hello sir.. i recently saw you videos about photography and i really liked them and found them helpful.! I have a keen interest in photography so i wanted to learn about the different modes of shooting..I have a Nikon Coolpix P600 camera .
From this video i leaned about the different f stops but in my camera i didn't get that wide range of f stops.. even in the manual mode i got only f-6 to f-8 and don't know how to focus on a point object as u did on the eye of ur frog.. Please can u help.

  5. great video. I'm learning alot from you bro I finally found what I was looking for. Is it normal if my F won't go lower than 4? you started at 1.4 I can't get that low or is it because of my camera? D3300
